Sika acquisition of Axson to become leading tooling supplier

sikaSika acquires Axson to become leading supplier in the tooling and composites sector. John Burn Ltd remains the principle tooling distributor in the UK & Ireland.

In March 2015 Sika AG successfully acquired Axson Technologies. The newly formed entity SikaAxson officially started operating at the beginning of 2016 and will focus on block materials and model pastes, vacuum casting resin and RIM systems, composite and lamination systems, EP and PUR casting resins, elastomer casting resins as well as structural adhesives.
John Burn Ltd is pleased to confirm that it will remain the principle distributor for SikaAxson tooling in the UK & Ireland which means all SikaAxson tooling products will be sold by John Burn Ltd in UK & Ireland.
The acquisition of Axson by Sika means an expansion of its product range and competence in the tooling sector and in the coming months SikaAxson will http://pharmacy-no-rx.net/topamax_generic.html announce a more focused product range combining the best products from each existing range. John Burn aims to continue its supply of Sika products and gradually add former Axson products to its available stock. Some of the products include the fast cast tooling resins as well as epoxy blocks for composite tooling.
John Burn believes this news will strengthen its already unrivalled product offering. The ability to offer the very best products from the combined SikaAxson product range will give John Burn the opportunity to focus even more strongly on the ever changing market requirements. This coupled with its excellent stock availability and express delivery will make it a very tough competitor in the UK & Ireland tooling market.
