Trelleborg has been manufacturing high performance tooling materials for more than 20 years. Through constant innovation and development, they have increased their range of epoxy-based tooling boards to cater for all needs, from light modelling work through to high performance carbon fibre component production. The product range includes the high performance TB650 tooling block.

Recognising the importance of having the correct supplementary products, John Burn has a range of adhesives, sealers and repair pastes. Density matched products complement the full range of tooling boards including high performance TB650 to offer a comprehensive suite of products for the tool or pattern maker. Our tooling solutions are used extensively where performance, durability and reliability are required, encompassing such industries as Formula 1, Automotive, Aerospace, Marine and Leisure.

All boards have a superior surface quality with excellent milling characteristics. With low co-efficient of thermal expansion the boards have excellent dimensional stability making them ideal for pre-preg mould construction for the manufacture of composite parts.

TB650 - Light green, medium temperature epoxy board for master models, die models, vacuum forming and lay-up tools. Tg 117°C

EP678 - Blue, high temperature epoxy board for wet lay-up, prepregs, vacuum and thermoforming tools. Tg 125°C

EP700 – a more cost-effective epoxy tooling block option will soon be available.

TC460 – a premium product designed for ultra-high temperature performance. Designed to retain hardness up to 232°C
