John Burn Ltd were the guest of Sika Tooling & Composites at their manufacturing site in Bad Urach, Stuttgart this week. As Sika’s leading European distributor a team from John Burn were pleased to be able to attend.

It was the annual Export Conference for all European distribution partners and the 2 day event provided the opportunity for Sika to update and showcase new epoxy and polyurethane product developments for 2011.

The programme included several product demonstrations, in particular the new Biresin U1420 elastomeric polyurethane resin for foundry applications.

As a finale to the two day event the Sika distribution partners were treated to a guided tour of the nearby Ulm Munster, with its record breaking tower, the highest in the world. The tour was concluded with a pleasant evening’s entertainment at a nearby restaurant over looking the Cathedral.
