John Burn welcomed several more composite users to the factory last week for a number of training courses.
Denis McKerring and Ray Gavin from MDR Motorsports in Ireland flew over to take part in a two day advanced course.
The course involves both composite tooling construction and composite parts production using carbon fibre. The aim of the course is to provide a better undersatnding of common industry techniques using epoxy resin systems, carbon fibre and other composite materials. We hope that we can pass on some worthwhile industry tips and advice that will enable the attendees to progress to the next stage in their development, either in the workplace or at home. The courses can be tailored to suit and we encourage the participants to become fully involved in the practical elements of the training.
"Thank you for the two days of training and fun learning the tricks of the trade on how to make tools and CFM products. I enjoyed my time with you at John Burn and in the workshop." Ray Gavin, MDR Motorsports.
'As Head of Design at Loughborough Grammar School I found the course incredibly valuable, very well instructed and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I have already started to use my skills with my more advanced pupils and we are all putting our new knowledge to good use. Thank you to all the staff at John Burn for providing an excellent course.’ Paul Jackson, Loughborough Gammar.
