At the ICF Slalom World Championships held in Prague during August 2006, most of the winners used boats made by Vajda Canoes and Kayaks manufactured with Sika Biresin®
The key to the success of Vajda is their close working partnership with many of the top racers, who provide input into the design of each new canoe and kayak.
Vajda's expertise is to translate these design wishes into high performance composite structures, which they do using Biresin® composite resins together with carbon and Kevlar fibres consolidated by vacuum bagging. The result is a construction of optimum strength and stiffness, with a total weight of just 9kg.
Vajda, based in Slovakia, manufacture around 120 boats each month. The convenient processing and short curing cycle of Biresin® L84 contribute to the production output rate.
Vajda continually refine the design of each canoe and kayak to remain the first choice of the top racers. The latest model, ready for next season, is pictured above.
